Congratulations to Helston Athletic new champions of the SWPL Division One West …

The first goal didn’t come against bottom side Perranporth until just before half-time when a Charlie Young header broke the deadlock. Further goals from Mark Goldsworthy, his 52nd goal of the season which means a new SWPL goalscoring record for the striker, and substitute Mikey Davies completed the 3-0 scoreline. CS was there for the match.

The goalscorers list is now up on the site for the Cornish Guardian East Cornwall Premier League as at the end of April …
