Bodmin give it a good go at Bridgwater!

After going so close on Saturday, Bodmin were unable to make it through to the next round going down 2-1 in Somerset and this after Bobby Hopkinson had given Darren Gilbert’s side the lead.

On Saturday despite a Sam Matthews  first half hat-trick and Town looking to have secured a Second Qualifying Round FA Cup place, it ended up all square 3-3! CORNISH SOCCER was there for the match and photos

New for this season, CORNISH SOCCER is running a Fantasy Football league.

The draw has been made for the early rounds in this season’s Launceston Cup

Holders Pensilva will have to defend the trophy with their reserves side following the first team now in the Cornish Guardian East Cornwall Premier League.

Meanwhile our two other Cornish clubs went out of the FA Cup

While Saltash United went out at Willand who are unbeaten in the Western League Premier, it was disappointing that once again Truro City let slip a great chance of progressing, this time their downfall was Larkhall Athletic who are in a division below the White Tigers. See here for all the results
