The CCFA really need your votes …

They need to hear from you on the new county cup proposal

The last of the Cornwall Senior Cup Round 2 ties has now been completed with ECPL Polperro visiting SWPL Bodmin Town…

A hat-trick each from Bodmin’s strikers Ryan Richards and Adam Carter secured a place in the next round for last year’s runners-up where they now host Godolphin Atlantic. Polperro held their own for 22 minutes, but once Richards got the first, there was only going to be one winner. However, Polperro can be proud of their performance against a club that has dominated the competition in recent years. Photos on the CS Gallery

The draws were made for the Senior and Junior Cups

Shock winners in the last round against SWPL opposition, JCCL Hayle now take on the holders in the AFC St Austell in the Senior Cup.

Meanwhile in the Junior Cup, Duchy League Premier leaders Padstow United have a home draw against Division 2 Holywell & Cubert, while much fancied Carharrack also have home advantage in their tie with Frogpool & Cusgarne

Falmouth Town also have a new face for tonight’s Cornwall Senior Cup tie at St Austell….

Although technically it’s a return of a player as former skipper Tom Whipp is back at Bickland after short stays this season at Bodmin and Torpoint. Manager Wayne Hughes has confirmed the player is available for selection. However we await to hear who will be playing in goal as regular ‘keeper Jason Peters is cup-tied after appearing for Probus in an earlier round.
